Hard Chrome Plating

We hard chrome plate using chromic acid (chromium trioxide flakes) of the highest standard and can produce a hardness of 1000 – 1100 HV or 60 – 62 Rockwell which can be plated on to a wide selection of materials including steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, bronze and even some metal sprays.

Whether your requirements are for flash chroming of engraved textured rolls (applying a thin layer of chrome) or a heavier deposit, required to bring components or rolls back to their original size. We can cater for most applications.

We have the capacity for multiple batches of components or single items up to a size of 1000mm or a total length of 4500mm.

Chemical Stripping

We have facilities on site to chemically remove chrome from rolls and components up to 900mm diameter x 4000mm in length.
